JOB DESCRIPTION

CWAATSICH is a Community Controlled Health Service that is responsible for delivering comprehensive primary health care for Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people residing in communities located across a large geographical region.

 

Advertised Position/s:   Trainee Social Emotional Wellbeing Liaison Officer

Position is based in:   Charleville

Employment Type:   12 months

 

The role of the Trainee Social Emotional Wellbeing Liaison Officer is to assist and support the multidisciplinary SEWB team to increase access and enhance services to improve health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait clients. The role involves the provision of culturally appropriate and culturally competent referrals and mentoring to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Assistance for SEWB team to support community engagement and development of activities with a focus on Youth.

 

Position requires Drivers Licence, Current Blue Card, Police Check and willingness to complete certificate IV Mental Health.
