The Role

An exceptional opportunity has come up in Brisbane's DFO Shopping Centre for an enthusiastic, friendly, self-motivated and experienced Store Manager to lead, inspire & motivate an experienced team within this flagship location. A beautiful store which is the perfect mix of retail & hospitality. The successful candidate will be customer-focused with excellent selling skills, be a team player, and have a genuine interest in food and cooking. Mandarin language skills are preferred, but not essential.

Key responsibilities include:
Leading by example in delivering exceptional customer service; managing the store team to ensure consistent developing of outstanding customer relationships
A strong focus on continuous development and improvement of self and the store team and the effective delivery of all store leadership and people management responsibilities
Ensuring the successful running of the store and taking ultimate responsibility for ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently and achieves set targets
Proactive in building CRM database and organising in store VIP events

Skills Required

A minimum 3-4 years Management experience in premium or luxury retail or homewares with proven tenure
A passion for cooking
An inclusive & confident people leader, who mentors, coaches & succession plans the team
Mandarin language skills are preferred, but not essential
Excellent communication skills
Positive, energetic, with a 'can-do' attitude
Experience working in a fast paced environment
Sound business acumen
Passionate, focused, committed
