Your new company
Our client is a boutique architectural consultancy with a passion for making positive waves in communities. They have already been nominated for several awards for their community-centric designs – so definitely watch this space. You will be involved in a range of new and exciting projects throughout Queensland, from commercial to mixed use, master planning, education projects and more. With such a broad scope to work across, no two days will be the same.

Your new role
Your new role as a Senior Architect will involve collaboratively working across a variety of projects, taking them through the full design process. Your team is boutique and specialised, you’ll work with bright minds to make positive and influential differences in the local and greater community. Key criteria to your success will involve your innovative design skills and ability to communicate well with internal team and important clients to help make a project happen. You will work with more junior members as a mentor and guide, and be open to learning new skills to make yourself as successful and skilled as possible. You’ll be involved in a range of interesting projects and make a visible difference in the architectural industry.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience working within an architectural firm in a senior capacity, with an ability to liaise well with clients and stakeholders. While skills in Revit are highly valued, a priority is placed on strong design and collaboration skills. You will appreciate the skills of your colleagues and be willing to learn from them to improve your own skills. You’ll carry a tertiary qualification in Architecture and Queensland Architectural Registration. Evidence of projects you have lead in the commercial, mixed-use, master plan or education space will be beneficial. You’ll demonstrate an ability to pick up new skills quickly and hit the ground running, working both collaboratively and autonomously. An ability to effectively communicate with teammates and clients is important to this role, with negotiation abilities being held in high regard. You will have strong verbal and written communication skills, and act with honesty and integrity.
