Team Leader - Finance
Full time

An exciting opportunity has arisen with the Rural City of Murray Bridge for a suitably qualified person to join our Finance Team in a senior role as the Team Leader – Finance.
This role supports the Chief Finance Officer to ensure the integrity of financial systems and
information, whilst ensuring Council is compliant with all legislative requirements. However, it is
expected that the incumbent will use his/her technical accounting and system skills with initiative and a can-do attitude that can be applied to produce accurate information within the required timeframe to ensure that all deadlines and reporting requirements are met with minimum supervision.
This role also assists with the preparation of key deliverables including the annual budget, operating and capital expenditure, the long term financial strategy, quarterly reports, annual reports and performance monitoring. Furthermore, the Team Leader - Finance will develop key relationships with the internal stakeholders with a focus on customer service and decision support.

The successful candidate will have tertiary qualifications to degree level in Accounting or Business
Management, and a current professional affiliation with an appropriate body such as the CPA or ICAA are essential.
An attractive salary in the range of $105,000 pa plus superannuation will be negotiated with the
successful candidate.
