About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic, passionate and self -motivated Recruitment Advisor to add value to a fast paced, high volume and meaningful environment. You will be responsible for providing support, advice and expertise in all facets of recruitment and attraction to candidates and St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne (SVHM) hiring managers. You expertise in this field will allow you to provide accurate, strategic and relevant advice to managers on best practice recruitment process based on current market standards and tailor to fit the unique requirements of each role.

This role is fixed term, full time for 6 months.

Reporting to the Recruitment Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading recruitment and selection activities and providing extensive support to hiring managers.
  • Participate in and lead end to end recruitment campaigns.
  • Provide effective solutions to complex recruitment requirements and work through escalation and enhancement methods to ensure all roles are filled.
  • Oversee contract management for new starters.
  • Assist to develop the skills and capability of hiring managers.
  • Assist with design, implementation and maintenance of effective systems and processes.

This role is remunerated at $83,657 per annum.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • HR Qualification, graduate or post graduate or equivalent
  • Experience in end-to-end recruitment and contract management, and expert knowledge of recruitment principles and processes.
  • Strong ability to liaise and build relationships with various stakeholders
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with high attention to detail
  • Experience in a high pressured environment whilst managing a large volume of tasks, and the ability to prioritise and manage competing demands
  • You must possess the right to work in Australia
  • Current Police Check, or be willing to obtain one
