As the Clinical Assessor- Registered Nurse, you will be leading the clinical case management skills and customer focus in specialised assessments to a range of aged care clients within the residential aged care setting. You will be conducting assessments in partnership with the resident to ensure the greatest degree possible in each instance. These assessments will be adhering to the Charter of Aged Care Rights and it is a chance for you to make a difference in the healthcare sector under this new contract for the Department of Health working alongside Clinical Advisors and Regional Managers to achieve best outcomes.

You will be working across a diverse caseload assessing skills and capabilities, needs and strengths of individuals. You will provide tailored support to clients, ensuring that their individual goals are achieved. You will have a background in healthcare, namely nursing and AHPRA Registration or membership is essential. You will possess 5 years of experience in working in the Aged Care sector or related health care orientated roles.


  • 5+ years of experience in clinical practice within aged care or healthcare-related role
  • Relevant qualifications and registration as a Registered Nurse
  • AHPRA Registration essential
  • Demonstrated experience in working with a range of clients and client needs
  • Previous experience in assessing and working with solution-focused therapy and skills
  • Commitment to quality and exceptional report writing skills
  • Clinical leadership abilities and proven experience in exercising sound judgement
  • Friendly, approachable, collaborative and professional manner
  • Strong work ethic
