About the role:

  • Transform the way network access planning is performed to optimise the presentation of rail system availability
  • Responsible for the optimisation of the network pathing profile and the positioning of maintenance & asset activities that are being planned across the system
  • Improve the overall utilisation of the rail network by identifying opportunities for maintenance and asset activities that do not detract from overall system throughput and volume
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and improve infrastructure maintenance plans and work schedules
  • Interface point for many stakeholders and a requirement to manage competing priorities while providing positive outcomes

About you:

  • Tertiary qualifications in business, commerce, economics, logistics, supply chain or project management preferred
  • Previous demonstrated experience in a planning role
  • Ability to effectively manage conflicting priorities
  • Manage stakeholder expectations through effective communication
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to workplace change
  • Intermediate Microsoft Suite skills (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Ability to learn and utilise advanced planning and scheduling systems
