About the role:

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of an access & asset management strategy within the Network business
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and design proposed opportunities to optimise infrastructure maintenance plans and work schedules aligned to business unit strategy
  • Analyse and interpret complex data to inform capacity projections and alternatives
  • Lead partnering and transformation initiatives as they relate to access planning and the access strategy
  • Support change management requirements and strategic planning processes
  • Assist with KPI setting and governance for the wider team

About you:

  • Tertiary qualifications in business, commerce, economics, logistics, supply chain or project management preferred
  • Sound understanding of rail network operations
  • Experience in and knowledge of the coal supply chain
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously as required
  • Demonstrate strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Suite skills (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Ability to learn and utilise advanced planning and scheduling systems
