Your new team:

Due to anticipated growth, we are currently looking to engage AV, ICT & security specialists to join our Australian team. Our national Technology Systems (TS) team are highly qualified, experienced and collaborative professionals who are client focused. TS deliver cutting-edge, innovative solutions for our clients in the AV, ICT, Security, Risk Management, Smart Buildings/Precincts and Telecommunication fields. The TS team forms part of our broader Specialist Disciplines group who are housed within our industry-leading, 900+ Property & Buildings (P&B) business line.

As a collective, P&B cover all core and specialist building engineering disciplines and deliver landmark projects across all major building sectors and transport infrastructure developments, nation-wide.

A typical day for you:

  • Actively work with clients to develop their technology strategy and masterplan
  • Actively work with clients and wider project team on technology implementation
  • Actively client-facing, maintaining strong business relationships and running small-to-medium scale projects;
  • Carry out project and engineering work as delegated in support of technical and commercial standards for all scales of projects;.
  • Undertake engineering design and documentation for our current technology systems projects
  • Work on local, national and international projects
  • Embody enthusiasm to work with a collaborative, national team in a multidisciplinary design setting, and;
  • Liaise effectively with all internal and external stakeholders.

What we'll love about you:

  • Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent industry experience and knowledge
  • Moderate-to-high level of expertise in a consulting engineering setting across at least two of the following specialist fields; Audio Visual, ICT and/or Security (electronic & physical).
  • Minimum 3+ years’ industry experience on Australian building engineering projects from a selection of sectors, e.g., commercial, health, defence and education.
  • Healthy track record of running smaller scale projects (medium scale would be advantageouss)
  • Thorough working knowledge of relevant Standards and Codes (BICSI, AS/NZS, NCC etc.)
  • Proficiency with Visio, (knowledge of BIM, NavisWorks and Revit MEP would be advantageous)
  • Capacity to effectively handle competing priorities, prioritise work and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to work in high performing national teams
  • Ability to liaise and coordinate effectively with all internal/external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
  • History of working effectively individually and in a team environment
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
