About the role:

  • Scheduling and coordinating maintenance on material wagon fleet and plant associated with Civil and Electrical infrastructure depots across the Central Queensland Coal Network (CQCN)
  • Partner with relevant teams to ensure governing rules, processes and systems are delivered and enacted in support of planned maintenance
  • Ensure daily communication across teams and external repair providers to ensure the existence of one maintenance plan and that all stakeholders schedule and work to the plan
  • Work with relevant stakeholders to ensure long term maintenance plans meet strategic fleet objectives (this should include but is not limited to consideration of capacity)
  • Ensure continuous improvement in availability and reliability of Infrastructure Wagon Fleet and Civil Infrastructure Plant
  • Develop short to medium term maintenance & demand plans that comply and supporting the efficient and effective delivery of maintenance
  • Ensure plans owned by division are scheduled and acquitted with 100% compliance to due intervals as specified in the approved system
  • Ensuring the conversion of the scheduled maintenance plan into an item level inventory demand plan

About you:

  • Demonstrated previous experience in a logistics, planning or scheduling role
  • Current class C drivers’ licence (mandatory)
  • Experience with SAP (advantageous)
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Process driven individual with continuous improvement mindset
  • High level problem solving ability
  • Detail oriented with an eye for accuracy
