Position Overview

Access Community Services are recruiting for 10 Paid Full Time Business Arts Trainees to commence mid June as part of the Skilling Queenslanders for Work initiative for a period of 22 weeks. Get paid to learn, grow & develop a broad range of skills whilst completing your Certificate I in Business Traineeship. You will work in a office administration environment completing tasks such as mail handling/distribution, creation of documents, electronic presentations, storage of electronic information, documents and other record providing service support to the workplace supervisor, whilst promising excellent customer service. The role is between Monday to Friday and you will complete learning and assessments outcomes as part of the traineeship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide service support to your workplace supervisor as directed and ensure you are a proactive team member.
  • Consistently offer professional, friendly engaging service, by providing clerical support to the workplace supervisor whilst promising excellent customer service.
  • Establish and maintain record keeping and filing systems as directed by the workplace supervisor.
  • Carry out administrative, receptionist, client assistance, information handling and other processing tasks if required or directed, ensuring you maintain any records in a neat and orderly manner and assist other team members wherever necessary to maintain good working relationships.
  • Complete all required and requested tasks and prioritise your own tasks to meet appropriate deadlines and to a high standard.
  • Respond to all general enquiries and telephone calls in a professional and friendly manner
