Through our Elk Property, Elk Loans and Elk Wealth, our clients benefit from the full spectrum of property, finances, investments, financial planning, SMSF and wealth creation services.

As a growing, dynamic business, elk is looking for an experienced Assistant Property Manager.

You will use your experience to assist in managing the entire property management book (portfolio). We hold QLD and NSW licences and the properties under management span the metropolis that is Northern NSW through to the Sunshine Coast and out to Ipswich

The position will be full-time.

Reporting to the Property (Capital) Manager, your role is to support the management and growth of the properties under management.

You will be responsible for:

· assisting on a daily basis with the property management

· managing landlord communication and relationships

· calling and talking to potential clients and contacts to develop business opportunities

· responding to tenant inquiries via emails and phone calls

· maintaining strong working relationships with staff and relevant shareholders

· assisting with invoice payment processing for properties

· business reporting for the real estate agency

· managing property maintenance and repairs with 3rd-party service providers

· giving owners and tenants superior service and respect as a seasoned professional

The Successful Candidate will have the following:

- minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position

- current and valid drivers licence

- experience in Console Property Management Platform is a plus

- Medium to Advanced skills in Microsoft office suite and Google applications

- A high level of attention to detail

- Strong writing and communication skills

- Be very comfortable speaking on the phone with people in a professional and polite manner

- Be flexible to meet the needs of the business and Management

The successful applicant may be required to complete a police background check.

Remuneration will be based on professional experience and qualifications.
