StarTrack are now seeking a keen & passionate professional to join our Darra facility in Queensland as PM Supervisor starting at 2pm Monday to Friday.

You will lead a team of Freight Handlers and Administration staff to deliver against agreed budget and performance outcomes. The Supervisor will facilitate the continued improvement of onsite processing operations by analysing current performance, identifying improvement opportunities and developing improvement action plans in conjunction with the Senior Supervisor and Facility Manager. This role is

focussed on delivering continual efficiency improvement at the lowest possible cost in the pursuit of service excellence.

Duties include but not limited too;

  • Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships, emphasis on managing customer relationships in collaboration with Service requirements
  • Actively develop and foster a capable support and team network to ensure commitment to the Enterprise on team objectives.
  • Plan Manage/organise allocation of appropriate resources and commitment of staff to enable achievement of on time processing
  • Be the topic matter expert in relevant area of responsibility to ensure operational and customer service needs are aligned with delivery of high service quality.
  • Lead change and innovation within team and other Facility teams
  • Drive new cultural practices, systems and processes that support desired change, with a focus on delighting our customer.
  • Develop reports that provide statistical data and conduct trend analysis to assist in developing proactive and targeted improvement activities and programs within the Facility and network
  • Conduct briefings and present analytical findings and conclusions around service issues, compliance issues, operational restrictions and improvement activities to Senior Supervisor and Facility Manager.
  • Ensure high levels of scanning compliance within nominated pillars to appropriate target levels
  • Contribute to the climate of active continuous improvement of processes, procedures and systems.
  • Review and analyse operational data to deliver efficiencies that ensure sustainability through application of agreed optimisation principles.
  • Ensure scheduling, compliance and on time completion of all required training modules

In order to be successful you will have;

  • Detailed understanding of Premium and Express Post operations including optimisation and process improvement.
  • Developed people management skills to support change.
  • Ability to assimilate and produce information.
  • Sound analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Developed influencing and negotiating skills
