The Constance Hotel is looking for a friendly, experienced and well presented Team Member who will fit into our culture of delivering outstanding customer service. We are currently looking for a Maintenance Officer to join the team at 65 room boutique venue.

The successful applicant will work with the hotel's team, coordinate maintenance works with the outsourced companies as required but take a hands on approach to preserving the buildings and assets to ensure the Hotel is in perfect shape for our customers. The successful applicant will have the support of the hotel's General Manager to help them achieve success.


You are passionate about your work with a flair for creativity, you are a great person to work with, reliable, level headed, organized with a bundle of energy. You will have the freedom to raise the bar through your efficient and effective approach.


  • Display a positive and optimistic attitude – a "we can do anything" approach
  • Have experience with fixing day to day things – lights, taps, paint etc
  • Demonstrate a logical approach to problem solving
  • Have the ability to understand what the customer sees – and ensure our property is always kept to the highest standard
  • Work in a clean and highly organised manner
  • Possess the ability to work with teams, and communicate clearly, efficiently and effectively
  • Possess knowledge of a trade (beneficial)
  • Possess knowledge of relevant legislation, standards and codes of practice (highly regarded)
  • Possess strong communication skills
  • Ideally, have experience with hotels
  • Ideally, have experience or passion for understanding and exceeding the needs and expectations of hotel guests
