Responsibilities and Duties:
Pedagogy (ie modelling lessons, organising release time for differentiated planning, attending year level meetings to keep informed of year level matters, leading CAPS meetings to provide professional developing, co-assigning CAPS topics differentiated to year level needs)Professional Learning (ie provide PD for curriculum, Australian Curriculum, Sheena Cameron strategies, differentiation) aligned to the CARF and pedagogical frameworkAnalysis and Interpretation of data (A-E academic data, behaviour data, reading data, NAPLAN data; supporting creation of Anchor charts and 'Bump-it up'/Learning Walls)Coaching - Taking responsibility to coach 3-4 teachers with quality differentiation and case management

Working alongside teacher aides to support their:
Professional Development (ie modelling lessons, planning for reading groups, hosting PD sessions)Analysis and Interpretation of data (regular meetings to analyse reading data to inform planning)Communication within the school (be a conduit with year levels, TA and admin team)

The ideal candidate will have a strong curriculum knowledge and excellent interpersonal skills to be able to work with all staff including teachers from Prep-6 and specialist teachers. Also, the ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of pedagogical skills and the ability to build teacher capabilities through a variety of methods. Experience in coaching would be ideal but is not essential to the role.

Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland. Employment for pre-service/graduate teachers will be subject to the successful completion of a relevant teaching qualification and meeting the minimum requirements as a teacher with the department.
