The Intensive Case Manager Caseworker provides quality professional casework services to young people subject to a youth justice intervention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supports productive working relationships - You build and sustain positive relationships with a wide range of people including team members and other internal and external stakeholders, and understand the historical and contemporary impacts of philosophies, policies and issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
  • Displays personal drive and integrity - You adhere to the organisation's values and Code of Conduct and commit energy and drive to see that goals are achieved.
  • Communicates with influence - You confidently present written and oral communication in a clear and precise manner and tailor your communication style according to the audience and you can communicate effectively and sensitively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
  • Role specific - You have knowledge of and/or experience in the completion of assessments and provision of appropriate interventions to support the delivery of high quality case management services and possess knowledge of theoretical perspectives that relate to youth justice practice.
You have experience working with complex young people and families and a demonstrated ability to coordinate interventions with a diverse range of ancillary, culturally appropriate service providers.
