About the role
A new and exciting role has been created for an experienced HR Manager to lead a team of HR professionals and support the Suncare senior leadership team. Take the next step in your career and work for a growing organisation that is making a genuine difference in people’s lives.
Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for the full employee lifecycle, supporting frontline workers and support staff, and building our reputation as an employer of choice in the community sector.

Key responsibilities for this role

You will own and deliver strategic people processes, policies, systems and operations across our organisation - where enhancing our employee experience is key
Effective management of the HR framework including performance management, resource planning, compliance and employee development
Take ownership of and maintain our Aurion HR platform and administration to make the most of its capabilities
Continually develop, implement and maintain company policies and procedures focusing on compliance with all regulatory and governance frameworks
Provide strategic advice on key HR challenges, risks, opportunities and improvements
Work with key stakeholders to manage and resolve all employee relations issues
Drive continuous improvement throughout the business, strengthening internal and external relationships and utilising feedback
Collaborate with our operations and risk channels to deliver an aligned approach to people and performance management
Provide detailed reporting to senior leadership across all HR and people functions
Provide insights and recommendations based on employee experience and data from pulse surveys
Drive continued process improvements to enhance the employee experience

The successful candidate will possess

Tertiary qualifications in human resources with at least 5 years’ experience in a management or leadership role
Detailed knowledge of the Fair Work Act and other relevant industrial instruments
Working knowledge of the not-for-profit community sector, particularly aged care
A passion for people and driving a positive and engaging culture
A strong track record of consistently meeting or exceeding performance metrics
Prior experience in HR roles; leading and developing high performance teams
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Strong attention to detail
