5Tales is a fast growing family-owned Australian marketing agency. Our work encompasses all areas of digital marketing and we work with small and medium sized businesses in Australia and New Zealand. In addition, we also offer a unique full marketing service to only a select few clients, for which you will be responsible.

We are a completely remote company (Work From Home) with team members across Australia and the Philippines.

Our group also encompasses a few national home service businesses for which we perform the marketing.

Purpose Of This Position

To manage two full service marketing accounts for exciting retail stores in Brisbane with plans for growth. In addition, the successful applicant will be responsible for managing communications with all Digital Services clients, acting as the intermediary between our clients and the team who will fulfil the services.

This is a managerial position, despite having no direct reports, and the candidate will be expected to be an active participant in Quarterly focus meetings and provide valuable insights that assist with strategic decision making.

Through a proactive approach to communication and client account management, this position will be influential in: a reduction in lost accounts, the improvement of account performance, and an increase in referrals from existing clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hands-on marketing projects with the two retail clients
  • Work with team members in order to coordinate the client’s work as required
  • Visit the client's site when the marketing necessitates it
  • Both proactive and reactive client communication
  • Continuous improvement of services through the management of post-op debriefs
  • Maintaining client details and tracking communications through CRM
  • Sending client gifts and brainstorming relationship-building initiatives
  • Identifying “at-risk” client campaigns through effective communication

A Day In The Life

As Client Services Manager, a typical day might include the following:

  • Chairing a post-op debrief
  • Reviewing and approving social media posts
  • Managing online reviews for full service marketing clients
  • Briefing fulfilment team on website changes from a client
  • Answering a client question regarding the performance of their campaign
  • Sharing updates and wins with digital services client’s by phone and email
  • Liaising with external stakeholders and partners on behalf of the clients
  • Conference call with a client to talk through their Google Ad results, and get an understanding of how it is tracking on their end
  • Chair the weekly client kick-off meeting to ensure you have all the information for the fulfilment team to execute the campaign

While we don’t expect you to have the technical knowledge to perform all of the tasks within each of these channels, We expect you to either know how they work, or be eager and willing to undertake a rapid crash course.

We also expect to fill knowledge gaps and will also provide training and guidance on how our existing services fit into the marketing channels we offer.

Other essentials: must have a vehicle and valid drivers licence and be able to attend occasional site visits to client retail stores.
