Full Job Description
Fixed Term, Part-Time | 12 Months, 15 Hours Per Week

$22.48 - $23.84 (Grade 1) per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)

We are currently seeking passionate and keen Youth Worker to join our Get Set for Work initiative at PCYC Capricorn Coast Youth Club. If you are enthusiastic and have a gusto for increasing youth involvement in programs and events, then we want you!

Your New Role

Reporting to the Youth Club Manager, you will be one of our many valuable Youth Workers implementing programs and activities that promote participation of young people and surrounding communities. This position cultivates positive outcomes and opportunities both personally and as a community.

About You

Working With Children Check (Blue Card) No Card, No Start and Restricted Person legislation applies to all applicants
Minimum Certificate III in youth work, community development/welfare, human services or related discipline or equivalent level of experience in social and community sector
Experience in undertaking youth related activities (Grade 1)
Hold a light rigid driver’s licence and a Restricted Drivers' Authority (or ability to obtain)
Hold a current First Aid and CPR certificate (or able to obtain)
Please note: All PCYC employees are required to complete a National Police Check upon commencement.
