The Client
Our Client is a leading Australian property group that owns, operates and develops a growing portfolio of communities across key urban and coastal markets. With a strong and established brand an opening has become available for a Senior Property Manager to join the team.

The Role
In this role you will lead the property management team to ensure that all leasing, tribunal, legislative and administrative duties for ongoing property management are completed in an efficient, timely and accurate manner.

Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for the preparation and execution of leasing documents for the communities 
  • All property management related matters 
  • Develop and update systems and procedures to ensure high quality property management service delivery to internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop effective document management controls, and ensure internal sign offs are obtained for version changes
  • Monitor contractual obligations under relevant legislation and regulations, and seek advice from legal advisor (internal or external) as required
  • Prepare and oversee tribunal submissions and maintain a register of tribunal claims
  • Lead by example - support, coach, motivate and engage the team to be high performers and reach company and team goals

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in a similar role or related industry
  • Held a similar role managing and mentoring a property team 
  • Experience in The Residential Land Lease Communities Act
  • Working knowledge of tenancy and manufactured home legislation
  • Flexibility to adapt and respond to changes emerging in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines
  • Effective communication skills, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
