Holistic House Paediatric Therapies provides specialised occupational therapy and speech pathology services to children with disabilities and additional needs. Located in Buderim on the Sunshine Coast, Holistic House prides itself on its collaborative and unique approach to therapy with 80% of clients accessing both occupational therapy and speech pathology services.

At Holistic House, we take the time to understand our clients in all aspects of their life. We value collaboration and see the importance to establish rapport with all key stakeholders involved in the child's care.

As a member of the Holistic House team, your role will include:

  • Providing occupational therapy services that are holistic, practical, and outcome driven to children with disabilities and additional needs
  • Conduct high quality assessments to establish a child's skill set
  • Collaborating with all key stakeholders, particularly working in close collaboration with other therapists on the team involved in the child's treatment.
  • Participating in case management meetings
  • Participating in supervision sessions
  • Supporting clients on their NDIS journey through access support and reviews
  • Being autonomous in workload and case management.
  • Providing clear and efficient documentation; including session notes and reports
  • Providing consistent communication with all key stakeholders
  • Combination of clinic sessions and home visits

  • Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with clients, families, team members and other key stakeholders
  • Ability to reflect on own performance and take on feedback

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (or equivalent tertiary level qualification)
  • AHPRA Registration 
  • Working with children check
  • New Graduates welcomed and encouraged to apply
  • Driver's license
