The role:

We are on the lookout for a real all-rounder/ HR Generalist to work closely with the Qld P&C team and national P&C teams. You will be a savvy and strategic recruiter, with your primary function being recruitment of both blue and white collar roles for our business, locally and remotely.

You will also be involved in a variety of state & national HR projects such as; retention and attraction strategies, Wellness & Wellbeing programs, Buildsafe Rise Up personal and professional development programs, Culture strategies, Policy and template development, and Employee relations documentation.

This role is fast paced, and will see you managing various tasks on a daily and weekly basis. You will be very comfortable and well adapt to working in a reactive and proactive environment.

You will have experience in the following;

Recruitment & Selection
Talent attraction and talent pooling
Orientation and inductions
Employee paperwork, data entry and management of records
First point of contact for all general HR queries and provide HR administration support.
Manage and coordinate training, with external RTOs
RTW Support and Administration ( desirable)
HR Administration and support – Exceptional administration and documentation skills
Document creation ( Internal memos, flyers, brochures, posters, Newsletters) for various concepts & campaigns
Assist, manage and event plan development days, culture events and programs
Support and administration to the P&C team locally and Nationally


About you:

The successful candidate must have a strong work ethic, be committed to setting the bar high, possess a sense of urgency and not one to accept good, only great!

You will possess initiative, and bring your own bag of skills to the table, that will add value to the HR function within Buildsafe.
