Manpower is actively engaged with a Federal Government department that is now looking for a talented Recruitment Advisor to join the team on an initial 12-month contract.

As the Recruitment Advisor, you will deliver an end to end recruitment service, including candidate management, approval to fill process, position description review, advertising, scribing, and reporting.

This is an APS 5 role commencing ASAP, and will run for an initial 12 months.

What to Expect:

  • Deliver an end to end recruitment service
  • Provide accurate and timely advice, consistent with resourcing policy and processes, to stakeholders and clients on general resourcing matters.
  • Create and maintain merit list to support recruitment activities.
  • Review, consult, develop and implement new procedures, processes, systems, and guidelines.
  • Assist with reporting activities, regular audits, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Take responsibility for a self-managed workload by meeting deadlines, making decisions within parameters, and escalating as appropriate on complex issues.

About you:

  • You have previous experience in a high-volume recruitment function
  • You've worked in an environment where there is limited IT infrastructure in place, and you can build new recruitment processes from scratch
  • You are a natural when it comes to building relationships, with a flair for building cooperation and overcoming barriers to information sharing, communication and collaboration
  • You enjoy working with competing deadlines, and rise to the challenges
  • You are known for your attention to detail, organisational skills and incredible work ethic
