Full Job Description
In the role of Casual Processing Officer you will work in a team based environment and be expected to contribute positively to the team to multi-skill, multi-task and job rotate through all of the duties and activities conducted through the Unit. Be responsible for ensuring that all client and customer services are conducted at all times in a courteous, efficient and confidential manner.

Accountabilities include:
  • Ensure a high standard of data entry with specific detail to speed and accuracy.
  • Provide prompt, competent, accurate, consistent and courteous telephone and mail information services to customers.
  • Respond to customer's needs through effective use of questioning, problem solving, negotiation and conflict management skills and the use of proactive initiatives;
  • Competently access and use relevant databases to maximise productivity.
  • Carry out operational and administrative tasks within the Unit to ensure maximum efficient in service delivery
  • Reconcile monies including banking and suspense accounts to ensure relevant finance standards and audit requirements are met;
  • Ensure security procedures and confidentiality is observed about information provided to customers.
  • Consult with management, staff and clients on matters of policy, procedures and standards.
  • Support DTMR in front line service for changes in government policy and new government transport related business.
  • Work in and contribute positively to a supportive team-based work environment including adherence to key performance indicators.
  • Ensure compliance with departmental policies, practices and procedures relating to human resources, finance and information technology.
This position reports to the Team Leader (Customer Service Operations)
