St Stephens Private Hospital is seeking a Supply Manager for a permanent full-time opportunity.

About our Hospital:

St Stephen's Hospital in Hervey Bay is Australia's first fully integrated digital hospital. Since October 2014 when the hospital opened, Fraser Coast residents âhave had access to one of the country’s most advanced healthcare facilities.

Our $96-million facility is the first fully-integrated digital hospital to be opened in regional Australia; we provide a comprehensive range of inpatient medical services, as well day surgery, with the goal to transform the quality of healthcare available to the Fraser Coast’s growing population.

About the Role:

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient management of the supply function; understanding the service level needs of the hospital to ensure appropriate stock levels of all products.

This will include purchasing, receiving, inventory management and internal distribution to support safe, high quality patient care, excellent customer service outcomes and achieving value for money for the organisation.

Your Skills & Experience:

You will be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

In addition, you will demonstrate:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Previous experience in purchasing and inventory control, preferably in the healthcare industry
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills
  • Understanding of SAP Materials Management system or demonstrated ability to quickly acquire skills in an ERP software
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to use initiative and adaptability to a constantly changing environment
  • Basic computer literacy in Microsoft Office
