  • $30 + per hour + 8% holiday pay

Auckland-based civil construction specialist seeking a contracts administrator to join on an ongoing basis.

The Company:

Stellar have a longstanding partnership with this mid-size NZ owned and operated company who specialise in directional drilling and open cut trenching. With their main office and yard based in Penrose, they play a large part in projects that have a major impact on the local economy and infrastructure. They have developed the capability, resources, and experience to run large projects in the civil industry and can also add value when engaged as a subcontractor. Now, they are looking for a contracts administrator to join their team on an ongoing basis.

The Role:

The role will be based in Penrose and will see the successful candidate striving to support the senior leadership team with their general contracts administration. Working Monday to Friday from between 7:00am to 4:00pm or 8:00am to 5:00pm, you will be working either autonomously or with the wider office. Core responsibilities include:

  • Supporting with general admin associated with receiving a project – entering in the system and working with internal staff to organise paperwork for their projects (H&S documentation, task analyses, JSA’s, inductions etc);
  • Liaise with traffic management providers to ensure TMPs are in place;
  • Attending internal meetings and taking minutes;
  • General office management and ad hoc administrative duties including creating onboarding packs for new starters, photocopying, ordering stationary, ordering PPE etc; and
  • Working with 3PM and MS Office.

Skills and Experience:

This is not just any role – this is an opportunity to make an immediate impact with our client and free their leadership team up so they can take the business to the next level. We require a candidate who show up to work and give it their all when they are there. There are no qualifications required, but at least 2 years of relevant experience is required to jump in.

Ideally, you will have worked in a civil construction setting and will have some understanding of the industry.
