An opportunity has become available for an outstanding project management professional to join a vibrant local government organisation and to contribute to the Mackay Region during a period of growth and transformation. This role of Project Manager is as diverse as the region we live in, so you will get to manage high-cost & high-profile projects, such as; libraries, pools, roads, water treatment plants, tourist centres and even whale watching lookouts. It doesn't get much better than that!

The position will be responsible for capital project delivery of works from pre-design phase through to handover/commission as required by the Mackay Regional Council’s capital delivery program.

  • You have a tertiary qualification in Engineering or Construction Management or relevant discipline and/or demonstrated equivalent extensive experience
  • You hold a current ‘C’ Class drivers Licence.

  • You have the ability to produce and present clear and concise reports.
