JOB DESCRIPTION

Our practice is seeking an amazing receptionist/administration assistant with experience in the allied health/medical setting to take on a daily role within our wonderful team.

We need someone who can create an exceptional client experience for our families from first contact all the way through their OT journey with us. While additionally providing administration support to our allied health staff and management. This person would be working on site with us in our clinic space in Shailer Park, QLD.

Key responsibilities/duties:

  • To provide administrative support to both management and allied health staff.
  • Client contact and greeting
  • Managing payment and invoicing- including use of practice management software, NDIS portal, Medicare and Private Health Claims.
  • Managing the phone and incoming enquiries
  • Monitoring the practice email for enquiries and parent contact
  • Diary/Calendar management – bookings, cancellations, scheduling
  • Waitlist management and bookings
  • Routine cleaning and resource monitoring

Ideal candidates:

  • Previous experience in the allied health setting and with NDIS and Medicare will be highly regarded
  • Excellent communication skills- verbal and written
  • Friendly and confident
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills
  • Innovative and proactive- helping to develop and improve practice procedures and systems
  • Adaptable and fast to learn, happy to take on further responsibility as we grow
  • Interest in social media marketing
  • Enjoys working in a small team
