Reporting to the Program Manager, the Project Manager will support the business by managing and delivering a wide range of projects with the Mobile Team

The Role:

This is a busy position and requires a structured approach in order to build constructive relationships and prioritise workload. There will also be a high degree of liaising with our clients and suppliers both internal and external to produce required outcomes while ensuring customer satisfaction to the highest level.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Being on time, on budget and meeting all contract specifications delivery for all allocated projects. Owning the end-to-end delivery, including client liaison
  • Identifying, scoping, estimating, coordinating and taking ownership for the delivery of projects
  • Understand the project's scope of works and the associated contract in its entirety for all allocated projects
  • Responsible for on time, on budget and meeting all contract specifications delivery for all allocated projects. Owning the end-to-end delivery, including client liaison
  • Follow the Downer Delivery Management Methodology (Training to be provided)
  • Proactively seek business growth opportunities
  • Assisting with non-project work as agreed, and when required

About You:

To be successful in this challenging and exciting role you will ideally have the following skills and attributes:
  • Project delivery management and scoping / costing skills and experience, minimum 5 years' experience
  • Experience in Mobile telecommunications and networks.
  • Relevant technical skills, experience and qualifications (e.g. Project Management, Engineering, QS / Building / Electrical / RF/ Construction etc.)
  • Ability to operate in a busy and changing environment, showing sound judgment and a professional approach
  • The ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent attention to detail
