The Role

Toll People are looking for experienced HC drivers for yard duties in Slack Creek. Initially you will be employed on a causal on call bases receiving 3-4 shifts per week. However, some weeks you may received 5-6 Shifts per week. Shifts with be Rotating across Day & afternoons.

Key Responsibilities

  • 3-4 days (some weeks can be 5-6)
  • Day and afternoon shift 0600-1400 and 1400-2000
  • Yard duties with some rigid work
  • The yard duty role includes directing incoming and outgoing trailers utilising a 2way radio
  • Working closely with the warehouse team to move the right trailers on and off dock
  • May also include the mechanic shuttle shift- moving trailers to mechanic workshops
  • And possibly pallet deliveries with a HR (rarely)

Skills & Experience

  • Current HC Licence
  • Min 2yrs operating experience
  • Positive attitude and good customer service skills
  • High safety initiative

· Knowledge of the fatigue legislation and all safety facets surrounding the transport industry

  • Safe driving history
