St Peter's College is currently seeking applications for a Replacement Science and Mathematics Teacher commencing Monday 19 July and concluding Friday 24 September 2021 (Term 3).

All teaching staff are expected contribute to the co-curricula program and act as a Mentor in the House pastoral care program. Other responsibilities include:

  • Teach the agreed curriculum in Science and Mathematics from Years 7 to 12.
  • Adhere to all Australian Curriculum, SACE and International Baccalaureate requirements; and
  • Assist with programming and assessment for each Year level in Science and Mathematics and support the work of the Faculties in the Senior School.

As the successful applicant you will:

  • Have experience in teaching Science and Mathematics at Senior Secondary level;
  • Demonstrate and promote excellence in classroom teaching;
  • Cultivate and maintain a classroom environment which is stimulating, focused and supportive which reflects the school’s values and ethos;
  • An ability to incorporate the use of digital technology into the investigation, teaching and learning; and
  • Hold current registration with the South Australian Teachers’ Registration Board.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to support the School's Values and Anglican ethos.
