Fantastic opportunity for a passionate, experienced Head Chef ready to use their expertise to create quality dishes!

This tight knit team of 8 are known for their excellent service and scrumptious food and offers exceptional coffee and mouth-watering breakfast and lunch dishes. Our client is looking for a dedicated and experienced head chef to run their kitchen on a 5-day roster from Wednesday through to Sunday. During the week you will be working independently and working alongside one other head chef on weekends. Shifts run between 6:30am to 2:30pm.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the entire kitchen operations
  • Create memorable and personalised experiences for our guests
  • Use your creative flare to adapt the current menu
  • Food preparation, support the kitchen hand team & produce high quality dishes
  • Ensure Food Safety & Hygiene procedures are followed
  • Control stock, prepare budgets and operate within strict budgetary constraints
Skills and Experience Requirements:
  • 1+ years’ experience in a similar Head Chef position
  • Relevant trade/commercial cookery qualifications
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask
  • Eye for detail and sense of urgency
  • Calm and controlled
  • Friendly and reliable
  • Able to work autonomously and part of a team
