The Opportunity:

Due to growth across the Brisbane region, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Sales Professional to join our successful Waste team based in Rocklea.

As a Sales Professional you will be responsible for driving new business growth, along with maintaining Veolia's current SME customers with organic growth from within Veolia’s Liquid & Hazardous Waste business across Brisbane South.

Working with various SMEs, you will focus on new business opportunities and work towards a sustainable future. This role would be ideal for someone who has had previous sales experience across either account management or business development.

Reporting to the Field Sales Manager, you’ll work in a medium-sized team, and liaise with staff members across the business to hit business targets. And you’ll learn from your team mates, as much as they’ll learn from you.

You’ll need:

  • Proven experience within a previous B2B sales role (either account management or new business development)
  • Experience within the waste industry is desirable but not essential
  • A Certificate IV in Business, or equivalent workplace experience
  • A track record for maintaining and developing relationships with high level stakeholders
  • The ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, effectively prioritise tasks and meet deadlines while driving results
  • A Valid Drivers Licence
  • Ideally competent in G-Suite, Salesforce, and SAP
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills in order to clarify, resolve issues, and make decisions
