We are seeking a highly driven applicant to perform operational stock control activities for the coordination of maintenance spare parts, equipment and materials to facilitate efficient supply and enable the delivery of business outcomes as a result of minimal downtime due to maintenance related issues.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain collaborative relationships across the organisation to ensure seamless delivery of maintenance spare parts, equipment and materials
Manage daily Maintenance Store activities, ensuring all registers are maintained
Maintain the condition of all spares and materials by ensuring they are stored in the correct location and deliveries are re-stocked in a timely manner and ensure good housekeeping is maintained
Manage stock levels by review of the replenish stock listing and rolling stocktakes of high risk / high turnover areas. Ensure all shelf items are barcoded and assigned a bin location
Critically assess the usage of maintenance spare parts, equipment and materials within control and manage for best outcome and provide recommendations to the RCM Manager
Work with the Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to assist with preparing materials for Work Kits
Coordinate and monitor freight movements, in and out. Communicate with the relevant team members when parts for open Work Orders arrive
Accurately receipt delivered materials, items, supplies or contractor timesheets and perform Invoice reconciliation against purchase orders for stores within control
Ensure items to be sent for repair are accompanied by Work Orders and are packed suitably for transport
Set up new stores areas as needed, identifying optimum layouts and storage methods
Ensure repaired items are entered back into the MEX catalogue once returned
Provide fill in coverage for the Maintenance Purchasing officer position.

A current LF forklift licence
MEX Experience highly regarded
Stock Management
Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, as well as strong skills as a facilitator to reach consensus, buy-in and commitment.
Able to provide insight and quickly identify a way forward when presented with challenges
Promote and work to continuously improve systems and process development to best practice
Demonstrated resilience and ability to quickly engage with change
Stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
High Level of knowledge in Microsoft Office product suite
Drivers licence and own reliable transport
