We have an exciting opportunity to join our organisation as an Ecommerce Full Stack Developer covering a 7 month maternity leave contract, commencing in July 2021. Join a team with a customer first mentality. You will own the success of development, support and optimisation of our Omni Retail platforms with a strong focus on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform.

The Role

Our customers don’t think ‘channel’ – they are need driven and use multiple touch points to fulfil their needs. Our Group is set up to Investigate, Identify, Implement, Integrate and Improve customer interactions across Super Retail Groups Omni-retail ecosystem.

Working closely with the UX, technical, creative and business users to understand requirements and provide accurate task breakdowns and estimates for development activities. You will build and improve customer facing aspects of our Omni Retail Platforms and participate in full life-cycle site development.

Responsible for Implementation of Best Practice, ensuring consistent use of coding disciplines and design standards to meet web accessibility guidelines, optimise code and perform testing and QA on site builds.

The Role Will Also Involve

  • Working with the UX designers to implement complex A/B and CRO tests to improve results and optimise web applications
  • Actively troubleshoot and support applications in production-critical environments, resolve application issues, peer review and test internal code developed prior to change control and ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility
  • Translate user stories and acceptance criteria into solution designs
  • Estimate, develop and test solution designs again the original acceptance criteria
About You

We are looking for someone who is truly customer focused. We operate in a fast paced changing environment so you will need to be adaptable and able to work under pressure.
  • Your experience in building for multi-device configurations (desktop, mobile, tablet) and using responsive frameworks will assist in your application being successful
  • Source control and version control tools (GIT, Mercurial, SVN)
  • The ability to configure Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) toolsets (Azure DevOps preferred)
  • Experience developing on cloud based ecommerce platforms with Salesforce Commerce Cloud / Demandware experience preferred, or Experience with ECMAScript 6
  • Previous experience with Modern frontend development frameworks/tools is essential (Bootstrap, sass/less, angularjs/react/vue)
  • Previous experience working in an Agile project team preferable
  • Good understanding of software design patterns preferable
  • Expose to cloud platforms AWS or Azure preferable (configuration/deployment/development etc)
