The Opportunity:
This is a newly created opportunity where you will lead innovation, design and expertise within the electrical and power systems disciplines for the Energy Business based in Brisbane or the Sunshine Coast.

As the Electrical Engineering Manager, you will be working in a motivated and collaborative team and will become a key person that supports development within the Energy business, recognising that development and sales comes from various angles, and stand ready to jump in and lead key activities such as concept forming, pre and detailed feasibility studies.

This role is an integral part of the National Energy business and provides an opportunity to develop Veolia's reach and influence across the Australian energy industry.

This is an exciting opportunity as our new CEO (promoted from within the business) plans to implement an ambitious strategy for our ANZ region.

You’ll need:
Demonstrated experience in the design of diversified projects within the electrical/energy sector
Wide knowledge of the renewable energy and power generation industry
Outstanding interpersonal skills, including ability to clarify, resolve issues, make decisions and mentor team members
To be able to build strong working relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
Genuine enthusiasm to work with Universities in developing young talent and bettering our communities
The ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, effectively prioritise tasks and meet deadlines while driving results
Tertiary qualifications in electrical engineering or equivalent & a listed RPEQ
Demonstrated success in driving and implementing business strategy and operational efficiencies via continuous improvement
Passion to drive ecological transformation
