$60,000 - $100,000 p.a.

This key government department is looking for multiple Administration Assistants to join the team on initial 6-month engagements to provide provide general administrative and human resource management support to the relevant Director as well as the general IT business.

Provide general administrative and HR support to the Director and the entire branch.
Provide first point of contact response to enquiries from internal and external clients.
Organise meetings, prepare agendas and papers for the Director.
Organise workshops, events, appointments, travel, conferences and research and acquire documentation for these events.
Liaise with team members and other departmental work units to coordinate delivery of Business Unit's outputs.
Maintain quality control systems and procedures for preparing, tracking and coordinating reports, correspondence and financial
Ensure documentation and financial transactions are timely prepared and archived in accordance with departmental standards.
Undertake purchasing activities as required.
Provide a confidential administrative support service, including meeting attendance and recording minutes.
Provide operational human resource management support to the branch.
Demonstrate personal qualities which contribute to the effective operation of a team.
