OUR OPPORTUNITY

Do you have experience with working in the hospitality industry and passionate about delivering an exceptional customer experience while becoming a part of a strong, positive team? We would like to hear from you as an exciting opportunity exists for a Hospitality Casual to join Isaac Regional Council's Planning, Environment & Community Services Directorate, based in Moranbah. Reporting to the Moranbah Facilities Area Leader, this position is responsible for providing assistance in the efficient day to day operation of the Community Centres and maintaining high levels of service at events and functions.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

The successful applicant will have demonstrated experience in events, function service and cleaning with a demonstrated high level of customer service in a team environment. A Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate, Food Handlers Certificate and Blue Card will be highly regarded. A First Aid certificate or ability to obtain will also be highly regarded.

The successful candidate will have:
Demonstrated experience in cleaning and customer services;
An understanding of chemical and cleaning equipment;
A strong work ethic and commitment to quality standards; and
An Australia C Class Open driver’s licence.
This position requires a strong work ethic with the ability to work flexible hours as required, particularly with function requirements which may include some early mornings, late evenings and weekends.

12% super (in accordance with policy)
Required to work, as per roster
