Cairns Regional Council is currently seeking three (3) Labourer Wastewater Reticulation to join our Water & Resource Recovery Department.

Primary Objective of the position:

  • As a Labourer Wastewater Reticulation operate as directed by Water & Resource Recovery supervisory staff to assist in the day-to-day operations of the sewerage network.

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • Secondary education to Year 10
  • Current MR Drivers Licence
  • Current confined space accreditation and/or ability to gain accreditation
  • Construction White Card
  • A practical ability to pre-empt and organise tools and equipment to assist with all aspects of wastewater maintenance activities
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
