Job Description

The primary objectives of an Administration Assistant in the Transition to Work (TtW) program are:

  • Provision of high quality reception and customer service – being the first point of contact for our customers, your goal is to ensure enquiries are dealt with in a timely and effective manner, ensuring a first rate customer experience.
  • High level administration support – in a highly compliant sector such as Employment Services, attention to detail and efficient administration is essential.
  • Support to customers and staff – as well as undertaking duties for the Area Manager, you will provide support to our other program staff.

Your contribution will enable the site to maintain a high level of service and operations.

The TtW Administration Assistant is a varied and challenging role. To be successful you will need demonstrated skills in all key areas, motivation to succeed and resilience. High level communication skills, customer service and proven experience as a successful Administrator.

Tasks will include but not limited to:

  • Acknowledge and respond to customer enquiries
  • Assist job seekers with open access computers, their profile and applying for work
  • Refer job seekers to appropriate staff and/or external organisations
  • Actively contribute to team objectives
  • Support staff and the area manager with administrative tasks
