The Role
This position will require you to carry out routine scheduled maintenance tasks, trouble shooting, machining, and breakdown maintenance repairs to plant equipment. This is a residential role in Mount Isa, working a 48 hour week on a 5/2 roster.

The Successful Candidate Will Be Responsible For
  • Analysing the root cause of failures with fixed plant equipment and implementing appropriate corrective action
  • Ensuring safe work behaviours for yourself and your fellow team members
  • Carrying out preventative and periodical maintenance
  • Rapid response and troubleshooting of critical equipment
  • Effective time management
  • Machining of components


You Will Have The Following Skillset And Attributes
  • Trade qualified with a minimum of 3 years post-trade experience
  • Hold a current manual Australian driver’s license
  • Forklift ticket, basic rigger/doggers ticket and gantry crane are preferred
  • Experience with CNC machining highly regarded but not essential
