CSC Group is one of Queensland’s leading community club groups, currently operating four licensed clubs and a number of associated sports across the Moreton Bay region. 

We are currently seeking an experienced club/hospitality marketing professional to join the leadership team in the role of Group Marketing Manager. With mentoring & support from the Leadership team, the role will be responsible for the strategic planning, operations and coordination of all marketing, promotions, advertising and communications for the group.

The role will be a salaried position, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating officer, with excellent career advancement opportunities. 

In this role you will be responsible for:

General

  • Contribute to the identification of target markets for both the Group and individual venues, developing innovative advertising and communications strategies to position the Group’s brands;
  • Develop & maintain centralised policies and procedures for the marketing team to drive consistency, efficiency and cost-savings, and ensure activities are conducted in accordance with external regulations;
  • Coordinate the production of Group publications including the Community Connect magazine, What’s On Magazines, Diamond Rewards Newsletters, Birthday Letters and external brochures/promotional collateral;
  • Coordinate all direct marketing and advertising activities for the Group’s brands;
  • Manage the digital presence for all group brands across various digital applications/directories, monitoring feedback and reviews and providing appropriate responses;
  • Ensure effective and timely communication to management and staff, notifying them of upcoming events, promotions, entertainment;
  • Monitor advertising, entertainment, marketing and promotions (AEMP) costs, ensuring they are in-line with budgets;
  • Coordinate market research activities and provide reports on the data collected;
  • Monitor competitors’ strategies and report on key changes to marketing and advertising trends, and their impact on the Group’s brands; and
  • Lead, manage and motivate a team of highly skilled individuals

Advertising 

  • Monitor advertising costs, ensuring they are in-line with budgets;
  • Negotiate advertising agreements with suppliers;
  • Oversee advertising bookings and the production of all advertising content;
  • Oversee the strategy and development of digital marketing campaigns across social media, search and digital display;
  • Oversee the maintenance of all group websites to ensure relevant and current content is communicated to achieve marketing objectives;
  • Track, report and measure the effectiveness of campaigns and digital marketing activities, making adjustments where necessary.

Entertainment & Events

  • Contribute to the development of entertainment strategies and oversee the coordination of entertainment activities;
  • Develop ideas for events to build patronage across all venues, liaising with department and venue managers to develop and execute these events;
  • Establish relationships with entertainment agencies and key entertainment suppliers, leveraging the Group’s collective purchasing power;
  • Oversee all entertainment and event bookings, along with completion of run-sheets, riders and communication of set-up requirements to operational teams;
  • Assist with sourcing and booking of entertainment for function clients and external events;
  • Measure and report on the success of entertainment and event activity with specific focus on ROI.

The successful applicant will need:

  • Proven marketing, promotions and management experience
  • Sound knowledge of print media, electronic and social media , point of sale, cross marketing, data bases , loyalty systems, branding, public relations 
  • Strong communication and written skills
  • Budgeting and reporting skills
  • The ability to be think strategically and successfully implement strategies
  • A high level of enthusiasm and energy
  • Be a team player and have the ability to involve and engage others
