Your new company

Located conveniently in Townsville, our client is a national leader in their industry. Due to internal movement and plans for growth, an opportunity now exists for an experienced and passionate HR & Payroll Officer to join the team on a full time permanent basis. This community based Not-For-Profit put their participants and families first. Their dedicated team are flexible and adapt to cater to participants changing needs and help them to make their aspirations a reality. They work to ensure that the care receivers are placed in the centre of all decisions and that they are treated with respect and dignity.

Your new role

As the HR & Payroll Coordinator your key responsibilities will include:-

  • Assistance with end to end recruitment
  • Preparation of employment contracts & organising inductions
  • Processing and assisting with employee performance matters
  • Assisting Managers with IR/ER matters
  • Organising training and development programs
  • Supporting & facilitating HR programs, employee incentives and initiatives
  • Other generalist HR duties where required
  • Support the Finance team in processing payroll when needed
  • Processing new starters, terminations and leave requests
  • Support with payroll/remuneration related enquiries

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful in this role, you will have similar and demonstrated experience recently or in your current role. You will possess exceptional communication skills and have the ability to work autonomously and on your own initiative. Exposure to both HR & Recruitment is essential and Payroll administration is highly regarded.
