As a key member of the AFL Queensland Participation and Programs team, the Junior Competition Manager – Metro North is responsible for the management, administration and delivery of the junior community football competitions in Metro North, Queensland.


  • Manage Junior football competition fixturing arrangements including ground availability and fixture requests
  • Work with the Participation and Programs team to grow junior football within the region
  • Respond to all club enquires, including match day issues
  • Administer Junior Rules & Regulations and by-laws and manage associated issues
  • Attend and coordinate club meetings, weekend matches, functions and events as required
  • Aid with the coordination and delivery of identified coach, official and participant training
  • Assist with the strategic development and execution of junior football with short- term and
  • Contribute to key projects locally and nationally within and outside of core role
  • Support and contribute to the success of the broader team
