The Role
We are looking for a Contracts Advisor to join our team in Mount Isa within the Supply Chain.

The position will require the successful candidate to interact with personnel across all business functions to source and deliver contracts in line with business requirements. Strong engagement will be required with suppliers to ensure involvement throughout the sourcing process, and to ensure local procurement policies are adhered to. This role is pivotal to the success of our newly formed sourcing team within the supply chain function.

Your Key Responsibilities Include
  • Development of go to market strategies
  • Validation of baseline spend and tracking of savings
  • Reviewing historic consumption and validating forecasts
  • Assisting end users develop scope of works
  • Drafting and release of tender packages
  • Tender evaluation, negotiation, and award recommendation
  • Contract implementation and management of KPIs
  • Management of contract data systems
The successful applicants will have:
  • A bachelor of engineering, business, commerce, law or related discipline.
  • SAP experience desirable
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in sourcing and contracts drafting.
  • Relevant experience within a supply chain function.
  • Exposure to mining and other heavy industry would be ideal.
