Leading name in Heavy Machinery needs a talented Branch Manager to drive business and people development.

Your new company
Our client is a global leader in providing heavy machinery solutions to industry including mining, earthmoving, and construction. They pride themselves on offering a full circle solution including sales, parts, utilisation optimisation, maintenance and servicing to their clients to maximise efficiency and production without compromising safety.

Due to growth within the market and within their business, this essential role will play a large part in developing our people, arming them with the technical expertise and resources to meet the needs of our Regional Clients and to grow the business and ability of our Gunnedah Branch.

Your new role
As a natural people leader with a trade and technical back ground in Heavy Industry this role will see you involved in but not limited to;

  • Managing, monitoring, mentoring and coaching of the technical and service team
  • Manage and schedule all branch service activities
  • Coordinate the successful completion of all jobs including, technicians, parts, contractors and all relevant parties.
  • Determining and meeting client needs
  • Strong Commercial acumen
  • Management of current client relationships
  • Ongoing continual improvement and analysis of business processes to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Total management of branch requirements including budgets, staffing, P&L's and financial reporting
  • Promoting a safe working environment including work process, policy and compliance
  • Develop a cohesive team environment where people are driven by ownership and accountability

What you'll need to succeed
Our ideal new Manager will essentially be a passionate people leader who presents with a technical background and a solid understanding of heavy industry, mining and construction market and clients.
They will also present with;
  • Previous experience leading and developing a medium sized team
  • A results and solution based attitude to business success and staff drivers
  • The understanding of how to build a solid team environment with safety and cohesiveness at its core
  • The ability drive operational outcomes
  • A solid understanding of, and exposure to Microsoft and SAP
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Must have Heavy Duty Trade qualifications and an understanding of machinery and parts
