About This Opportunity

The First Aid Trainer and Assessor will primarily deliver CPR (HTLAID009) and Provide First Aid (HLTAID011) courses at the University of Queensland under UQ Skills on various campus sites including St Lucia (primary delivery location), Gatton and Herston. As travel may be required you will be compensated accordingly. Our CPR and First courses are delivered via a blended model. Students are required to complete online learning material and relevant quizzes via the LMS Blackboard which form the theoretical training and assessment. This is a mandatory requirement prior to attending practical classes. Practical classes focus on implementing the skills learnt from the theory online and involve several scenario-based assessments which are provided for you.

The time commitment is 3 hours for CPR and 6 hours for Provide First Aid + 1 hour of marking the practical assessment booklets for either course. Travel time will also be considered as required.

All practical equipment is provided in addition to online learning resources, slides and facilities.

This position is located at The University of Queensland’s picturesque Gatton Campus. Gatton Campus, UQ combines its Queensland Agricultural College heritage with modern research and teaching facilities in agriculture, agribusiness and veterinary science. The campus also operates several commercial plant and animal production units in rural technologies to support teaching, research and hands-on training.
