  • The Role

    As Executive Officer you are responsible for representing the Society and its ministry in the appointed Diocese and working collaboratively with the Diocesan President and Central Council. Ensuring operations are facilitated in accordance with policies, procedures and the philosophy of the Society.

    You are expected to implement best practices, promote Society operations and mission in the community, and at service delivery and local government level. A key focus of the role is leading service improvements and strategic development opportunities within the Diocese.

    The Executive Officer is a member of the State Leadership team.

    To be successful in the role, you will meet the following criteria:
  • Ability to effectively engage with stakeholders across the Society to achieve strategic and operational objectives
  • Proven ability to promote a positive workforce culture ensuring, recognition, retention and training for workforce representatives
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple programs in education services
  • Tertiary qualification in Education or Business Management, and/or in a related discipline
  • 5+ years working in the Not for Profit/Education industry with a strong track record of achieving outcomes and meeting program requirements
  • Demonstrated experience building strong networking relationships
  • Understanding of and commitment to the philosophy of the St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland and an ability to work in accordance with policies and procedures to promote the values and mission of the Society
  • You will be required to complete a police check should you be successful in being appointed to our organisation. To be eligible for this position you must have an appropriate visa to work in Australia/New Zealand.
