WIS currently have a fantastic opportunity available for a Business Unit Payroll Officer to join our energetic, high volume, fast paced Payroll team located in Carole Park

Your key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Partner with the Business Unit (BU) to create an in depth understanding of the roles, awards and pay complexity
Process all BU specific weekly, fortnightly and or monthly pay changes and calculations
Analyse and audit of all payrolls, ensuring legislative and award compliance (tax compliance, superannuation, etc.)
Support internal reporting requirements and assist in the preparation of end of month & end of year reconciliations
Work in collaboration with the HR team for award information and ensure payments comply with awards, arbitrated decisions, and consent agreements
Manage your BU inbox and provide a timely response to all payroll enquiries from all employees and managers

What you will need to succeed:
Extensive working knowledge of Ascender, PeopleSoft payroll systems
Previous experience in the preparation & administration of medium to large payrolls
Understanding and experience with integrating new business into the payroll system
Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office 2013
High attention to detail in a face paced environment
Ability to assist and co-operate with business improvement initiatives
