Full Job Description
Wagners are looking for an experienced Training & Compliance Officer to join our Projects team.

Based locally in Mt Isa, this fulltime fixed term position reports directly to the NQ Transport Manager. As part of our site team, you will be responsible for ensuring that employees are highly and adequately trained to operate in accordance with established safety procedures and professional driving standards.

To be successful in this role you will possess a current MC licence, a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, a sound driving record and significant road train driving experience. This role also has a strong administrative focus, so prior administration experience and good computer skills in MS Office is a must. Possession of an Industry Approved Driver Trainer Licence, Fatigue Management Qualification or High Risk Forklift Ticket would be desirable but is not essential.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
  • Manage the Training System ensuring compliance with legislation and site requirements;
  • Conduct and supervise Driver & Operator assessments/training
  • Manage and ensure compliance of Permits within regulatory industry programs;
  • Working with all departments to ensure the seamless on-boarding and mobilisation of new employees;
  • Assisting with weekly and monthly reporting for both internal and external stakeholders;
  • General administration duties as required;
